Monday, July 16 - Thursday, July 19: Zazen 6:00 and 6:45am
Saturday, July 21 - Friday, July 27: Closed for Sesshin (no public sittings)
Sunday, July 29: 9:00am Early Zazen; 10:30am Open Zen
Monday, July 30 - Friday, August 3: Open Sittings:
6:00am - 7:30am
6:45pm - 9:00pm (Mon-Thurs)
Zazen is usually offered Monday-Thursday mornings, with sitting periods at 6:00 and 6:45am. Come for one or both periods. We end with a brief liturgy/chanting service.

What is Mindful Self-Compassion?
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.

July 22: Closed for sesshin
Next Sunday Open Practice:
Early Zazen, 9:00 to 10:15am: This session is designed for those with previous Zen meditation experience, and an understanding of how to work with the body, breath and mind on the cushion. Arrive and be in your seat by 8:55am; plan to stay for the full block of practice (~10:15am).
Open Zen, 10:30 to 11:30am:
A short period of meditation with basic instruction, followed by a dharma talk or dharma dialogue. No previous meditation experience is required to attend Open Zen.
