These drop-in sessions include zazen (two 25-minute periods) and dokusan (a brief meeting with a teacher), followed by a facilitated dharma discussion around a specific theme. These evenings are offered on a donation basis, and participants are encouraged to make an offering they can afford.
*The door is open by 6:10pm; plan to arrive and be in your seat in the meditation hall no later than 6:25pm. If you arrive late, sit quietly in the community room until the next meditation period begins.

In this class we will examine an essential Zen teaching about the nature of awakening, "Actualizing the Fundamental Point," by Dogen.
This class is appropriate for beginning and experienced students. Each session includes meditation (two 25-minute periods) and dokusan (individual meetings with a teacher) during the first hour, followed by dharma study the second hour.
