Join Annette Jordan for this one-day retreat based on the life-changing and well-researched work of Christopher Germer and Kristin Neff, creators of the UCSD Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) Program. The program is open to the general public; no previous MSC or meditation experience is required. This is also an opportunity for experienced MSC practitioners to come together to renew and deepen their practice of self-compassion and mindfulness meditation.
What To Expect: Following a brief orientation and question/answer period, participants will enter the silent portion of the retreat and will proceed in silence with sitting and walking meditation and brief periods of reflection. Annette will offer guided meditations from the MSC foundational program to provide support for cultivating mindful self-compassion throughout the retreat. Participants will also eat lunch together in silence with mindful eating as the backdrop.
