Picture
In-person zazen sessions are cancelled during the pandemic.

Monday through Thursday mornings:

5:55 - 6:35am Zazen
6:35 - 6:45 Kinhin (walking meditation)
6:45 - 7:20 Zazen
7:20 Liturgy/chanting

~ No instruction is offered during weekday morning practice sessions.
Previous Zen meditation experience is required,
and participants must be able to maintain stillness for the length of the sitting period.

If you are new to Zen meditation: sign up for one of our Introduction to Zen Meditation workshops;
these are offered several times per year.
The workshop will provide you with the necessary foundation to establish a regular meditation practice,
and attend morning zazen at NZC.

Click here for more information.

~ Weekday meditation sessions are offered on a donation basis; the suggested donation amount is $5,
which may be placed in the dana (offering) bowl.
